As a former interiors magazine editor turned designer, I can uniquely reinvent your existing space or start from scratch to create an eclectic and pretty home that reflects you and your lifestyle. I mix modern and traditional using interesting objects and art to give your house personality and individuality. With a background in kitchen and bath design and home building and remodeling, I can help with projects of all sizes. 

        I am happy to help with a large project or if you need one or two things, or just some inspiration, I’m your person. No job is too small. 

        I am good at sourcing interesting things no one else might have and look for ways to save money while giving you an individualized look. Any inspiration photo you show me, I can recreate something like it if that’s what you choose or you can let me fully lead the way. As I tell my clients, and as my creative mom always told me, there is more than one way to skin a cat! I am happy to hash out the many possibilities. I also am happy to use items you already have and incorporate meaningful items that have been in your family or collected by you.

        Appreciating architecture of all types, I am inspired by how people choose to live and the colors and choices that make them happy. A lover of houses, I can also help you find a home that suits you, as I am a referral agent at Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville. 

        I attended St. Lawrence University and then graduated from the University of Virginia. I lived for many years in New York and London and then moved back to my hometown of Richmond, Virginia where I finished raising my four boys. With them, I am an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, hiking and, whitewater kayaking.
